When you arrive, our appointment coordinators will assist you with signing in on our reception area computer. Please note that you now can fill out our New Patient Form directly online! Parents can feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee and a desk is available for homework or just having fun.

One of our Treatment Coordinators will start your appointment by discussing your concerns and goals for orthodontic treatment.  She may take digital photographs to assist Dr. Desmarais or Dr. Vermette with their diagnosis.  Our Treatment Coordinator will also help you to understand some basic orthodontic concepts using our computer based patient education program.

Dr. Desmarais or Dr. Vermette will then do a comprehensive orthodontic exam and follow up with a discussion of his findings and recommendations. Our Treatment Coordinator will complete the appointment by reviewing the doctor's recommendations. Sometimes the patient will be placed on an observation status awaiting further growth and development. If the patient is ready to begin, the next appointment and financial details will be provided.
